Congratulations to the girls and boys basketball teams for their wins over N-O last night.

 

Today:  All School Mass – 8:10 am. Cardinal Buddy Activity in the Grade School from 1:25 – 2 pm. (at 1:20 pm students will go to Homeroom where teacher will send to their respective cardinal buddy classroom).  JHG Basketball at SMH with Creighton – 3 pm. (players are dismissed at 2:15 pm).

 One Act students meet in Mrs. Spader’s room for Pizza at 5:50 p.m. tonight and the end of the season celebration will be for parents and students at 6:30 pm in the Commons.

 

Semester Finals will be held on Thursday and Friday of this week starting at 8:10 am. Students will need to go to Homeroom at 8:00 am and then be dismissed to their finals. Students are not to be in the halls while exams are being administered. Students need to remain in a classroom during the entire exam period. Students are not to go to the restroom or their lockers, etc. (please use the Break time for this).

Students are required to be at school only during the times they are scheduled for an exam. Students who remain at school between exams must remain in the Comments for the time they are not scheduled in an exam.

 

There will be a Cardinal Pride Day on Thursday and Friday for Semester Finals – Remember on Cardinal Pride days only Cardinal shirts are to be worn. NSAA State Championship shirts and any other shirts that are not specifically Cardinal ones, are not allowed. 

 

Thursday, December 28th: Semester Finals starting at 8:10 am. Noon dismissal. Teacher Inservice 1 – 4 pm.

 

Ticket takers for the Basketball game on Friday, December 19 are Mrs. Spader and Mrs. Schmeichel. Concessions is Mrs. Chohon and the 10th grade.

 

Friday, December 19th: Semester Finals beginning at 8:10 am. Noon Dismissal. Basketball at SMH with North Central (VG/VB) – 6::15/8 pm.

 

During half-time of the basketball games on Friday, there will be a Stuffed Animal, Gloves or Sock Toss onto the gyn floor. All donations will go to one of the following – Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital, Bright Horizon’s, Toys for Tots or Local Law Enforcement. If you are unable to come, donations may be left at St. Mary’s Grade or High School.

 

Monday, December 22nd: Christmas Break – No School. Basketball at Wynot (JVB/VG/VB) – 4:30/6/7:30 pm. (Bus leaves at 1:30 pm).

 

Wednesday, December 24th through Sunday, December 28th – NSAA Gym Moratorium. No one can be in the high school or grade school gym or the Wrestling room during this time. 

 

Monday, December 29th: Elkhorn Valley VG/VB Basketball Tournament – SMH girls will play Norfolk Catholic at 2:00 pm, and SMH boys will also play Norfolk Catholic at 3:30 pm. Bus leaves at 12:10 pm.

 

Tuesday, December 30th: Elkhorn Valley VG/VB Basketball Tournament – TBA.

 

Tuesday, January 6th: School will resume at 8 am.
