Today: Cardinal Pride Day. Cross Country (JH/HS) at Boone Central – 10 am. Football at Burwell – 7 pm (Bus leaves at 4:10 pm).

Today marks the end of the first 3 full weeks of school. We will do the first grade eligibility check on Monday morning, September 8. If a student has a failing grade in one class only, that student will be given an ineligibility warning notice, and he or she will have one week to improve the grade in that class to a passing grade. If the grade is not improved before the next Monday, that student will become ineligible at that time. If a student is failing two or more classes on Monday, the student becomes ineligible effective immediately. Students become eligible again as soon as all of the grades are passing.

On that note, Seniors who have an early out will lose that privilege immediately if they are failing even one class. If a senior with an early out is failing a class, he or she will not be released for early out, but instead will report to an independent study in Room 209 for 8th period.

Students are reminded that their charger does not fit into their computer case, so please do not try to stuff it in with your chromebook. Madi said that some of the hinge issues we're having are due to chargers bending the outside of the chromebooks and she thinks this is due to chargers being stuffed into the cases.

No JH Band today, but there will be high school Band.

Mr. Bulau’s first period class, please report to Mrs. Spader’s room this morning (bring something to work on).

Mr. Bulau’s 3rd period class will report to the Commons today (bring something to work on).
