Students planning to take the ACT on December 11 must register by this Friday, November 5 in order to avoid paying a late fee.
Registration for the spring semester at Northeast Community College began on Monday, November 1. If you plan to take a college course next semester, please register as soon as possible.
Students: This is the 3rd week of the quarter. It's time for you to look at your grades and talk to your teachers if you are struggling in any classes. Ineligibility will begin starting Monday, November 8 for those students who are failing classes. Jr. High students who are failing any classes will be required to attend 8th period study time in Room 101 instead of going to PE or sports practice.
North Central District Health Department is looking for a high school student to work part time after school. Please see Mrs. Atkeson if you are interested.
Kelly’s Farm Office has an immediate opening for a high school Junior or Senior interested in learning how to operate a scale and weigh trucks. Hours are 4 – 9 p.m. or 5 – 9 p.m. through November 11th. $16.00 per hour. Call Deb Kelly 402-340-6378. Office is located 4 miles west and 1 mile south of Atkinson.
The sign up sheets for working at the auction are in the office. Please be sure to sign up for a slot to work. All students are required to work a shift at the auction.
Thursday, November 4th: Student Council is sponsoring Laser Tag in the high school gym at 11:00 a.m.to lunch time. (Student Council will be dismissed after 3rd period to go to the gym to set up).
Friday, November 5th: Seniors will be leaving at 8:05 a.m. to help set up for the Parish Auction (not sure when they will return).
Sunday, November 7th: Parish Auction at the O’Neill Community Center. Daylight Savings Time ends.
