Thursday, August 29th: Girls Golf in Ainsworth – 9:30 a.m. Cross Country JH/HS in Valentine – bus leaves at 1:00p.m. (students participating will be dismissed at 12:40 pm). Volleyball at Bloomfield Tri. – 5 pm (bus leaves at 2:50 pm), player dismissed at 2:40 p.m. Softball at O’Neill (JH/V) w/Ponca – 5/6:30 p.m.
Students – Book bags are not to be left on ANY of the landings to the lockers rooms or stage (page 18 of the Handbook). This is a fire hazard and demerits will be issued to students who’s bags are found there in the future. Bags need to be put in your lockers or in the locker rooms.
Friday, August 30th: Football at Twin Loup (Taylor) – 7:00 p.m. Bus leaves at 3:30 p.m. (players dismissed at 3:15 pm).
Coach Allen will have the weight room open Saturday the 31st, September 7th, and 21st for anyone who wants to lift or test for the Cardinal Strength Club.

Avera St. Anthony’s Scrubs Camp will be held Wednesday, September 18th at Northeast Community College Campus in O’Neill. Scrubs Camp is hosted by our hospital and is an interactive careers exploration day geared at showcasing careers available in healthcare. There will be a variety of healthcare professions at this camp including Nursing, Surgery, Physical/ Occupational Therapy, Radiology, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Respiratory Therapy, Dietary, and Support Services. There will also be a SIM (simulation) truck, Avera Careflight helicopter, as well as representatives from colleges and Avera Careers.
If you are interested in attending Scrubs Camp this year, please pick up an application/consent form outside Mrs. Atkeson's office. Consent forms are due by September 3. Note: this will be held on a day when St. Mary's will NOT be having school because of a teacher inservice.
