Today: The senior class will be delivering Meal on Wheels this week. They will leave at 10:50 a.m. and will return to school by approximately 11:40 a.m.
Tuesday, August 20th: NVC dinner and meetings in Parish Hall – 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, August 21st: All School Mass – 8”10 a.m. Rosary at church – 2:25 p.m.
Thursday, August 22nd: Girls Golf at O’Neill – 9 a.m. Softball (JV/V) at St. Paul – 6 p.m.
Friday, August 23rd: School pictures (Faculty & Staff) – 7:30 a.m. Students will follow at 8:00 a.m. Fall Sport/Activity pictures and senior banner picture to follow School pictures. SMH Football Scrimmage – 5 pm at the practice field.
Avera St. Anthony’s Scrubs Camp will be held Wednesday, September 18th at Northeast Community College Campus in O’Neill. Scrubs Camp is hosted by our hospital and is an interactive careers exploration day geared at showcasing careers available in healthcare. There will be a variety of healthcare professions at this camp including Nursing, Surgery, Physical/ Occupational Therapy, Radiology, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Respiratory Therapy, Dietary, and Support Services. There will also be a SIM (simulation) truck, Avera Careflight helicopter, as well as representatives from colleges and Avera Careers.
If you are interested in attending Scrubs Camp this year, please pick up an application/consent form outside Mrs. Atkeson's office. Consent forms are due by September 3. Note: this will be held on a day when St. Mary's will NOT be having school because of a teacher inservice.
