Fines and overdue books need to be taken care of by Friday, December 10 or demerits will be issued.
Just a reminder about sweatshirts:
· The handbook states that students may wear the official red sweatshirt with St. Mary’s logo available through Stadium Sports and other sweatshirts with an approved St. Mary’s logo or issued by a team/organization. For this reason, the one-act state play production sweatshirts are not acceptable for Cardinal Pride days or on regular uniform days. They are, however, fine for ‘dress down’ days.
· The handbook also states that on Cardinal Pride days, shirts that celebrate the school and are red, white, black or gray may be worn. Unfortunately, this disqualifies this year’s one-act shirts which are blue. Mrs. Schneider and Mrs. Atkeson are open to a change in the handbook if a student/group would like to present a case for a change, but for this year, that rule will be applied.
· Only non-hooded sweatshirts are allowed on regular uniform days. If a sweatshirt is worn over your polo, it must be a St. Mary’s sweatshirt.
Drexel House is sponsoring “Elf on the Shelf” through December 17th: Find the “Elf”, bring it to the high school office and get a prize.
Drexel Christmas Food Drive
Drexel House plans on giving food baskets with a meat gift certificate to families in need through Bright Horizons and the Food Pantry.
Please bring Christmas dinner items - check the flyers for ideas. Thank you
Coat Drive: Bosco House is sponsoring a Coat Drive from November 30 through December 17th. Coats may be placed in the boxes in the high school, grade school and church.
Saturday, December 11th: Wrestling at Stanton – 9:30 a.m. (bus leaves at 5:30 am).
Monday, December 13th: Siena House Blood Drive from Noon – 5:00 p.m. at the KC Hall. JH Girls Basketball at Creighton (A followed by B) – 3:00 p.m. (bus leaves at 1:15 pm). Wrestling (JV) at OHS – 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, December 14th: Basketball at SMH with N-O. (JVB-2qrt,VG,VB) – 5:30/6:30/8 p.m. LaSalle has concessions.
Wednesday, December 15th: All School Mass – 8:10 a.m. Rosary at church – 2:25 p.m.
