Carl S. Rose - Music

Bio: I grew up in Cliffside Park New Jersey. I graduated from Cliffside Park High School in 1965. I graduated from New York University in 1970 with a BS in Music Education. I received my MA in 1980 from Jersey City State College. I started teaching in my hometown of Cliffside Park in 1970. I taught there for 32 years and retired in 2002. After my retirement from the Cliffside Park school system, I moved to south Jersey (near the shore) and began teaching part-time at St Phillips the Apostle School in Brigantine in NJ. This was my first experience teachingin a Catholic School.. Unfortunately, St Phillips was eventually closed by the Camden Diocese due to poor enrollment. The following year I began doing Instrumental Music classes at various Catholic and Christian Schools throughout south Jersey and also taught Vocal Music part-time in a charter School in Philadelphia. Two years later I was offered a position in Casper Wyoming. I taught there one year before being offered the position here at St. Mary's-----and here I have remained since.
