Miss Leeza Adams- Environmental Science, Chemistry 1, Anatomy/Physiology, Physical Science, Biology, Earth Science
Bio: I was born and raised in New Orleans, LA for the first 7 years of my life. In 1990 my family moved to Humphrey, NE. Ever since fourth grade I had been interested in teaching and knew by the time I was a sixth grader that my talent and interests were in science. I attended Humphrey St. Francis and graduated in 2001. After graduation I wanted so badly to leave the state and especially the small town atmosphere. During my freshman year of college I attended Northwest Missouri State University. I realized half way through the first quarter that I wanted to have teachers who actually knew my name and decided to come back to Nebraska. The next fall I enrolled at Wayne State College and graduated three and a half years later with Bachelor's of Education in Natural Science. With this degree came the ability to be my own science department (teach any science class offered at the middle school and high school level). I am now happily in my fourth year of teaching at St. Mary's.
