Family Fun Night is a new event in place of the Sweetheart Dinner. Family Fun Night will be February 12th from 5 pm– 7 pm in the HS Gym. Admission is $5 per child or $20 for 4 or more children and includes activities like face painting, games, and jump castles! There will be activities for adults that include a cake walk, silent auction, split the pot and more. Food will also be sold. We hope to see you there for a night full of family fun!

Last month Sycamore Education announced a new web application for use with mobile devices! This application is meant to help parents access vital information about their students, while giving parents the flexibility to use pretty much any mobile device available.
Unlike a traditional mobile app, which you would buy in an app store, Sycamore decided to go with a website designed for mobile browsers.
To get to the login page go to: m.sycamoreeducation.com on your mobile browser. Once you're there you just need to enter the proper credentials.
Want the Icon on your home screen? Both iOS device and Android devices allow you to bookmark a web page (m.sycamoreeducation.com) and create a shortcut for that bookmark on your home screen. They even have a lovely icon that shows up for you. This way, any time you want to view our app, just click the icon and away you go!

In preparation for this event we the school prepares two documents for the QAR Team, a Self Assessment and an Executive Summary. We examine all facets of our school to complete these documents including history, demographic data, school/student performance data, and survey data. We have asked for assistance in filling out surveys over the past few years, have solicited your opinions through Sycamore, and held grade level parent meetings for this purpose.
Our final documents were submitted to the QAR Team last month.
